When I first started my candle-making journey, I focused on creating container candles. They were classic, familiar, and had their own charm. It was a rewarding experience, and I loved seeing the results from my efforts.
However, as I continued to explore the world of candle-making, I stumbled upon the art of candle melts. This discovery opened up a whole new world for me. Candle melts offered a level of versatility that container candles couldn’t match. I started experimenting with silicon molds and colors, which allowed me to create unique and personalized melts.
The ability to mix and match different melts to create custom fragrance combinations was exciting. For me, candle melts offered a more engaging and personalized experience. From that moment, I decided to dedicate myself to perfecting the art of creating high-quality melts that would leave a lasting impression, thus Satisfying Scents was born.
One of the greatest things about candle melts is their flexibility. Unlike container candles, which obviously need some sort of container to keep their shape, candle melts are created in silicon or plastic molds.
These molds come in a variety of sizes and shapes; from seasonal shapes like pumpkins and snowflakes to sleek clamshell melts to snap bar wax melts, they can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Once the melts have cooled in their mold, they can be popped out and used in a candle warmer.
When it comes to scent, candle melts provide versatility that’s hard to match. They allow you to control how much scent you want by simply adjusting the number of melts you place in a warmer. For those that enjoy a stronger fragrance, just add more melts in the warmer. If you prefer a lighter scent, place only one melt in a warmer.
I really love the option of making the scent stronger when the need arises. I focus on producing strong scents but not overpowering. Candle melts have the ability to deliver a powerful fragrance that fills a room without overwhelming it.
The actual containers of candles can be glass, plastic, or tin and although they are recyclable, many end up in the trash, which ends up at landfills. Candle melts eliminate the need for bulky containers. The soy wax I use is biodegradable, the molds that I use are inexpensive and reusable.
Let’s be real—candle melts are way cheaper than container candles. When you buy a container candle, not only are you paying for the fragrance, but you are also paying for the type of container (jar, plastic, tin), the wick(s), and the fancy label design. Don’t forget about the shipping. The cost to have the product shipped to the store you purchased it from or the cost of shipping it to you is also added in.
You might be one of those people who thinks bigger and pricier means better. But when it comes to candle melts, that’s just not true. My melts pack a punch with fragrance without being overpowering. Depending on the size of the room, airflow, and the size of the melt, it can fill the space with an amazing scent. So why go big and spend more when you can have a great-smelling room with my melts?
With my candle melts, there’s none of that extra cost. I can focus on crafting amazing melts without worrying about the overhead. It’s all about bringing you great scents to buy without the customer breaking the bank.
